That is another thing I’ve done without planning 😀 I was visiting the aquarium in Barcelona and saw an add of swimming with the sharks. Googled it in the evening and booked my own swim. That was amazing!
There were just 3 people on the day. We got our wet suits, diving equipment, and a short crash course in a little pool. One of the other two guys was a qualified diver so he was allowed to just go out and ‘meet’ the sharks. I and the other guy were first placed in a cage, where we could observe the fish and wave at the aquarium visitors in a glass tunnel below. At the and the guide grabbed each one of us by the collar in turn and we swam together amongst the fishes and the sharks! The experience is held inside the aquarium with visitors staring and waving at you 🙂 I was quite nervous expecting my fingers to be bitten off every second but somehow my limbs stayed with me 😀 So, here no previous experience or any skills are required, you can just go and do it if you fancy 🙂 Just stay calm and breath 🙂
