Helicopter

Helicopter tours are ones of the most amazing experiences I’ve had 🙂 ! Expensive, yes, very much so, but omg the view. I’ve only done it twice (mostly because of the price 🙁 ) – in Sedona, Arizona (US) and Kvikkjokk(Sweden). Both were amazing!

I’ve had a bit of a disadvantage in the first one – being small I was placed between two ladies, so, my view wasn’t as great as it could be… Yet, thanks to my Insta360 One X camera I made a nice video out of it lol (see on the right 🙂 ). But even being squizzed in the middle, this sensation of flying in a helicopter was something I can’t compare to anything else!

The second tour happened more or less by accident 😀 I was hiking Kungsleden trail for 5 days. Staying in one of the STF huts along the way I was chatting with a guy who told me about a boat tour, and I decided to join said boating 🙂 On my last day, as I was having breakfast, the same gentleman approached me and asked if I’d like to share the helicopter fare with him and his friends 🙂

He left me to think and it took me about 3 minutes which is a lot for in my case 🙂 I usually just jump at opportunities like that. I was contemplating the price, which was high, but the ‘when will I ever get a second chance‘ though won! And I’m so happy it did!

The view was gorgeous (see the pictures)! The bottom line here is that if you have a chance – jump at it, the experience is more valuable than money (well, that’s what I often feel, although I do often get stopped by the price myself 🙂 ) I think everyone should try a helicopter flight at least once!

And P.S. I do have some nasty vertigo, but somehow helicopter flights felt pretty good!
