Bungee jumping

I remember booking the thing and going to the location… I was completely freaked out, afraid of being too scared to do it, and with the silly thoughts of the rope tearing or me getting a heart attack ๐Ÿ˜€ You know, all those stupid ideas your brain comes up with when scared…

But I was determined to do it. The thing is – I always like checking ‘if I can do something’, proving to myself that can get over the fear. Silly, but that’s how it is ๐Ÿ™‚ My terrible fear of heights doesn’t help with that task, I tell you. Hate that stupid vertigo ๐Ÿ˜€ It does get better since I always try to climb to the highest point of every location that I visit to dare myself, but it never goes away ๐Ÿ™ It’s work in progress ๐Ÿ˜‰

Anyhow, I did the bungee when I was living in London, next to the O2 arena. Here it is if anyone’s interested ๐Ÿ™‚ In the end, it was quite fast. I just came there, one foggy morning and jumped down. Quite disappointed with the view (or the lack of it ๐Ÿ˜€ ) in the fog.

And the truth is – the scariest part was standing at that platform, the jump and the flying down was way less scary than I expected ๐Ÿ˜€ I even remember contemplating if I should scream or not for the video (see on the right, lol) –>

Not sure that I want to do it again, not enough ‘physical’ effort required for that activity and it ends too quickly. But I’m totally happy to have done it and have it crossed off my ‘to do’ list ๐Ÿ˜€

So the bottom line is – it’s way less scary than it is in your head ๐Ÿ™‚
